Actually,
Alone in the Dark IS coming to Dreamcast very soon. Both Infogrames
and Gamespot have recently confirmed this. You guys have also missed a
couple of other titles which are definately coming.
 1. FATAL FURY GAROU: Mark of the Wolves- mid October by Agetec

 2. EVIL TWIN- HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED. Ubi says that In Utero (French
               developer is almost done.

 3. CONFLICT ZONE- is Ubi's latest effort. It is a PC Port with some
enhancements and was just confirmed by Gamespot for an
                   early November release.

 4. OOGA BOOGA- was released on Friday

 5. SAMBA DE AMIGO 2000- this WAS on Sega's release list for June. Then
it disappeared for a while. I spoke to Terri
Higgins at Sega America about this and she said
that the title was bring test marketed (i don't
know why) and that it is still being considered.

 6. NHL 2K & TENNIS 2K are also on the Q4 release schedule.

There are a few others coming (for those interested, Crave has said
that they are considering two more Dreamcast games but have not announced
which ones. I should point out that Sega and others will be releasing
games in 2002 for the US Dreamcast. The only titles that I am absolutely
sure about are TOE JAM & EARL 3, the SPACE CHANNEL 5 sequel, and PROJECT
K. This is from Sega America in San Francisco as of last week. The Q1
release list will not be posted (according to Sega) until after
Thanksgiving. Hope this helps. And again, go to:
    cravegames.com(then go to "Your Comments"
agetec.com (then discussion boards and look for topic "More
                Dreamcast games please...")
  LAter,
   george

Subject: more Dreamcast games & dates

Gamespot has posted a great but incomplete article on upcoming DC
games. They also have a great interview with In Utero, the developers of
Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles and great insights on developing for DC.
Here are some corrections and updates to my previous email:

Alone in the Dark: New Nightmare----September 26
PBA Tour Bowling 2001---------------September 16(delayed a few days)
Heavy Metal Geomatrix---------------September 16(delayed a few days)
Conflict Zone-----------------------October 3
Tennis 2K2--------------------------October 23
Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles-----November 16

Who can I contact about pushing Samba de Amigo 2001 along a little bit...
You would think that the number of people buying sets of third party maracas
(and the fact that the originals go for $100+ on ebay), that Sega should
know there would be a good market for the game.

Is TJ&E 3 still being released? Last I knew, even the developers website
said they weren't sure the DC version was going to make it to market. It's
too bad... this is one game I'd REALLY like to see on the DC.

Toe Jam & Earl is still coming to both the Japanese and US
Dreamcasts. Sega themselves say it will be announced in Q1 2002. It is
listed as that in the Japanese DreamGa magazine also.
As for Samba de Amigo, I would contact Sega butalso try
Agetec.com. There has been a push there to pick it up in case Sega does
not. I don't know what the problem is in getting this game out. The
sequel is everything the first one is and so much more!

I've read many places that the DC version was cancelled.
Hope not, but that's what I've read.
